Completion of Food Processing Room at Pamansalan Eco Tech High School

Pamansalan Eco Tech High School in Dipolog City has achieved a major milestone with the completion of its state-of-the-art food processing room. This facility, made possible through the partnership between ChildFund Japan and the Lihok Bata Development Center, plays a pivotal role in providing students—many of whom come from indigenous communities and economically marginalized backgrounds—access to quality education and essential skill-building opportunities.

With the majority of the school’s 250 students belonging to indigenous groups, the food processing room offers a crucial platform for learning both traditional and modern culinary techniques. As the demand for skilled workers in the food industry continues to grow, the training provided here equips students with the expertise needed to secure meaningful employment after graduation.

This initiative underscores the importance of socially inclusive education, ensuring that all students, regardless of their background, have the chance to develop life-changing skills. As Pamansalan Eco Tech High School continues to expand, the food processing room stands as a powerful testament to how education can strengthen and uplift indigenous and economically disadvantaged communities alike.
