Every child has the right to dream big and fulfill them. In recent interviews, sponsored children of ChildFund Japan and project partner Samahan ng Mamamayan Zone One Tondo Inc. shared their dreams for their families and community.
“When I grow up, I want to become a teacher to teach other children,” Mica, age nine, confidently shares. “I want to become a nurse to help sick people,” 10-year-old Alex tells us.

For many children, sponsorship plays a big role in achieving their dreams. At ChildFund Japan, we believe that consistently providing children with the tools they need opens opportunities for a brighter future. Providing tools for tomorrow goes beyond material resources and includes quality instruction, a supportive learning environment, and productive developmental programs.
When children’s varied needs are easily accessible to them, they can learn more efficiently and nurture their skills. Consistently investing in children’s education shapes future leaders like Michael and Donna Mae, who hope to become a pilot and a businesswoman someday.

Dreams are guiding maps to unlock children’s potential, and each school year is another chance to support them through sponsorship. As we continue to provide educational support to children, we empower them to reach their full potential and turn dreams into reality.
